WHAT IS SLACKER MARKET?

7th Annual SLACKER MARKET 

SLACKER MARKET is a holiday gift market held annually the last weekend before the xmas holiday and is typically the last chance to snag locally-made gifts! The event includes local artisans, good food, music, photobooth, 'Selfies with Santa', and more in a charming vintage warehouse decked out for xmas in the heart of downtown Phoenix' Art District.

 Day 3: The SLACKER STROLL

TIME: Sunday 10AM - 5PM

DEC 21 LOCATION: FREE on the 22nd! Begin at 214 E Roosevelt, Phoenix, AZ at Phoenix General Store and work your way on Roosevelt Street from 1st to 2ND ST

Slackers, we've got you covered! Slacker Market returns for year-seven packed with more creative talent than ever before spanning an entire weekend! This year we expect 150+ artists at the market between Saturday & Sunday, Dec 20 & 21! Mark your calendars and let’s get this gifting biz handled. On December 20 join us at 901 N. Central for an indoor Santa's Workshop experience and on December 21st, join us again for more artists and last-minute shopping as you take an outdoor stroll down Roosevelt Street in the Arts District. Santa has confirmed and will be rolling up on Saturday & Sunday from 12-2pm for SELFIES w/ SANTA. We will also have Santa's Lowrider Sled at this year's event on the 20 & 21 as well as a Vintage Xmas Photo Booth for all your turtlenecks, ugly sweaters, and selfies with Santa! Enjoy all your favorite local artists in one spot over an entire weekend, delicious food & drinks, and we are thrilled to announce we will be raising $ again this year for an amazing local nonprofit, the New Life Center!  CHARITY DONATION 

For the fourth year we will be donating $1 of every $5 admission to the New Life Center!

New Life Center serves more than 1,000 children and adults annually through their emergency shelter and outreach support programs. More than 70% of New Life Center’s shelter population is children. Last year, New Life Center served more children and provided more bed nights than any other single facility providing emergency shelter to domestic violence survivors in Arizona.
